While the official total for Give! 2011 continues to climb thanks to our generous matching and challenge grant donors, we’re excited to offer four fun new ways to support Give! 2011 alumni with your time, presence or dollars this weekend. All are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted, so don’t miss out!
Saturday, Jan. 14, 10 a.m.-noon: Volunteer to make giant ceramic letters for Soda Springs Park Sidewalk!

- Note: CC is seeking both teens and adult mentors to work on this project, which will involve creating 30″ ceramic letters to be set into concrete when the sidewalk is replaced on the west side of the park in February.

Some Give! alumni have told us the best thing about their participation in Give! wasn’t the additional funding they raised — what they really prized was the chance to learn how to market themselves to local media.
Not that you shouldn’t support the Diabetes Community Center with your time and dollars anyway, but look at them tearing it up on FOX21! They’re one of the smallest, newest nonprofits featured in Give! this year, but they definitely know how to make an impact. Great job, guys!
