Friendly Competitions

To encourage giving as well as to start conversations about philanthropy, the Independent has teamed up with local foundations to launch "Friendly Competitions." Our hope is that these cash incentives will provide participating nonprofits with a terrific rallying point to reach out to younger and new donors, especially since our Give! Web site shows in real-time how each organization is doing.
