"Painting frees me from my body."

The Club of Arts
WHAT WE DO
We provide access to artistic expression and exploration for nearly 200 local artists with disAbilities through classes, workshops, exhibitions, dance classes and performances. Our art center is designed to support students by offering dignifying instruction, pushing them to new levels of self-expression and creativity, and strengthening their independence and self-confidence.
WHY WE’RE GREAT!
Our teachers ensure that each individual student is successful in his or her endeavors, both artistically and in their lives outside of the classroom. Through empowering students to recognize themselves as artists, we build their abilities to more fully engage in the world. The Club of Arts also gives students a place to socialize and call their own. We encourage students to become instructors themselves, to help us shape the classes we offer, and to give back to their larger community.
