Cool Science

WHAT WE DO

We make science cool for kids. We are a volunteer-based organization dedicated to exposing, exciting and inspiring the people of the Pikes Peak community – primarily kids, but also their parents and teachers – about the wonders of science. As a passionate group of real scientists, engineers and educators from the private sector, as well as the USAFA, UCCS and Colorado College, we bring fun, thought-provoking, hands-on science demonstrations and workshops to schools, libraries and community venues.

WHY WE’RE GREAT!

Cool Science not only helps develop a more scientifically informed public – important in its own right – but we also expose our youth to the possibilities of science-related careers. That’s cool. And it matters.
