Kids on Bikes
WHAT WE DO
Established in 2005, we give new bikes to children through programs that inspire a healthy lifestyle, independence and achievement. Our cornerstone ABC program (Academics, Behavior and Character) works closely with teachers and fifth grade students in underserved schools. With input from parents, we jointly develop personal goals suited to each child. Both students and teachers monitor progress toward these goals throughout the school year. Kids that meet their goals receive a new bike, helmet and lock.WHY WE’RE GREAT!
Recall your first bike and the freedom and confidence that it gave you. Kids on Bikes provides that first bike as a motivating force for deserving children. Working in partnership with teachers, kids and parents, Kids on Bikes encourages healthy choices, independence and personal achievements that motivate children to succeed.VOLUNTEER/OTHER NEEDS

- Mechanics and notaries for bike giveaways
- Volunteers for kids’ fun rides
