WHAT WE DO

The MAT is an open door inviting escape from poverty of the imagination, fear of this remarkable world and a severe shortage of genuine laughter! This year our unique Westside Theatre will stage 18 original productions involving 40 professional artists performing for audiences of all ages. Our Touring Theatre will involve over 14,000 students in productions, workshops and classes.

WHY WE’RE GREAT!

The MAT connects the community to great theatre, diverse artists and innovative educational opportunities. From the Six Women Play Festival to the Incredible Circus MAT, we share the joy and amazement of live performance. Our Artists-in-Residence and Outreach Performances are greatly needed by those schools and community centers with little or no arts programming.
