WHAT WE DO
We build community through music. Our participants join together for the purpose of making an artistic statement: as we sing, we provide educational, cultural and social enrichment for our audiences and ourselves, and we identify as an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people and supporters that is actively making a positive contribution to the entire community.WHY WE’RE GREAT!
Out Loud serves a vital need in our community far beyond the cultural aspects of the beautiful music we create. We build and maintain bridges between the GLBT and straight communities through our concerts, community outreach events and, most directly, through our music. Additionally, Out Loud also provides a safe-space environment often necessary for GLBT people to express themselves without fear.VOLUNTEER/OTHER NEEDS
- Concert production help, from ushering to sound and lighting support
- Instrumentalists for concerts and events.
- Support for singing members at rehearsals (Monday evenings)
- Singers in the TTBB (tenor, baritone, bass) vocal range
