Colorado Springs Youth Symphony

What We Do

As the most comprehensive instrumental music program for youth in this part of the country; we are compelled to provide artistic development through high quality, diverse music experiences that enrich the cultural environment. The Mozart Strings Project, an outreach program for beginning string players, is one of ten programs offered by the association. The Youth Symphony performs for thousands yearly.

Why We’re Great!

Every week we serve more than 450 young musicians. The League of American Orchestras awarded us the Gold Baton Award for “helping to grow the musicians, audiences and fervent community advocates of tomorrow.” We have open invitations to the Sydney Opera House and have performed in many world-class venues. Thousands of dollars in scholarships are given to our young instrumentalists. High standards, proven quality and affordability make us a true treasure of the Pikes Peak Region.

Make A Donation
Our family has lived in bigger cities yet has not seen a top-notch youth orchestra like the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony. I am constantly amazed by the richness they offer to children in this community.
