We live and play in one of America’s most spectacular natural settings. Our completely volunteer organization works to maintain and expand our extensive trail system for the enjoyment of mountain bikers and all users. Whether you’ve tested your courage at the Red Rocks skills area, or enjoyed cycling, running or hiking Stephanie’s or Spring Creek trails, then you know some of our work!
In the early 90s a group of passionate mountain bikers recognized that their fledgling sport needed to contribute to the larger trails and open space community. Today the many new trails open to mountain bikers, hikers, runners and equestrians are a testament to our success. Current projects include bike access to the top of Cheyenne Mountain, construction of a new Lake Moraine Trail on the south slope of Pikes Peak, repair of local favorite trails and plans for a family-friendly gravity park.
Thanks for giving us your birth year. There is a special matching grant available to the organization in each category that garners the most donations from folks in their 20's and 30's. One of the big focuses of this campaign is to encourage younger citizens to become more active donors.
When Give! ends at the stroke of midnight, December 31, 2012, our goal is to have raised more than $800,0000 -- that's $100,000 more than we raised last year. To help us on our way, generous local businesses, foundations and individuals have pledged more than a quarter million dollars in Matching Grants and Friendly Competition Awards for our 58 participating nonprofits.
