Waldo Canyon Burn, Black Forest Burn, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Bear Creek Watershed: These are just a few of our current restoration projects. We are your boots-on-the-ground, shovels-in-the-dirt land conservation organization for the Pikes Peak Region. We restore burn areas, build and repair trails, restore wetlands, protect alpine lands, improve fish habitat and lots more.
Teamwork is our middle name and every year we rally thousands of volunteers to get dirty and give back to the land. With our trained staff, technical expertise, and dedicated volunteers we are able to tackle difficult projects with innovative solutions in demanding environments. Our projects are essential to sustaining our high quality of life and magnificent landscape.
Field volunteers, energy-efficient fridge, gas powered drill, five-gallon buckets, shovels, rakes, pick mattocks, 4×4 pickup truck
The "cover my transaction fee" option allows you to donate money to offset the processing fee VISA, Mastercard etc. charge us for each credit card transaction on indygive.com. Normally those costs are covered by Give! and a few generous underwriters, but with a goal of raising $1 million this year, that's $30,000 in fees! It's a nice way of supporting Give! directly if you like what we do for nonprofits in Colorado Springs, but it's by no means obligatory or expected. Either way, we appreciate your support of our 59 participating organizations!
Thanks for giving us your birth year. There is a special matching grant available to the organization in each category that garners the most donations from folks in their 20's and 30's. One of the big focuses of this campaign is to encourage younger citizens to become more active donors.
To reach our $1 million goal, the community needs to raise at least $678,000 by midnight on Dec. 31, 2013.
