With boots on the ground and shovels in the dirt, we protect, repair, and restore our most treasured natural areas. We restore and revegetate burn areas including Waldo and Hayman, build and repair trails, restore wetlands, improve fish habitats, and so much more. With community volunteers and lots of teamwork, we put our backs into keeping our parks, forests and natural landscapes healthy and accessible.
We’re more than just rock and dirt movers! With our trained staff and technical expertise, we are able to tackle difficult projects with innovative solutions in demanding environments. Our projects are essential to sustaining our high quality of life. Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak define our region’s skyline. Our environmental stewardship enhances the recreational experience for trail users, protects our magnificent landscape and improves water quality and biodiversity.
Thanks for giving us your birth year. There is a special matching grant available to the organization in each category that garners the most donations from folks in their 20's and 30's. One of the big focuses of this campaign is to encourage younger citizens to become more active donors.
When Give! ends at the stroke of midnight, December 31, 2012, our goal is to have raised more than $800,0000 -- that's $100,000 more than we raised last year. To help us on our way, generous local businesses, foundations and individuals have pledged more than a quarter million dollars in Matching Grants and Friendly Competition Awards for our 58 participating nonprofits.
