For a quarter century, we have served as the hub for creating the Pikes Peak Region’s “trail-scape.” Our trail development, stewardship and advocacy programs, like spokes on a wheel, connect our community to a growing network of trails, open spaces and parks. We help build new Friends Groups and help existing groups, giving them the tools they need to succeed.
Our last Give! campaign allowed us to recruit 18 new groups for the adoption of the entire Pikes Peak Greenway. We host annual crew leader trainings and graduate dozens of volunteers. We navigate political waters to garner support for trails and are the only organization working to create a civic culture where trails, parks and open spaces are valued for their benefits to our quality of life, community health and economic vitality.
Trail advocates to speak and write in support of trails, volunteers for trail maintenance; individuals, families and businesses to join TOSC as members
The "cover my transaction fee" option allows you to donate money to offset the processing fee VISA, Mastercard etc. charge us for each credit card transaction on indygive.com. Normally those costs are covered by Give! and a few generous underwriters, but with a goal of raising $1 million this year, that's $30,000 in fees! It's a nice way of supporting Give! directly if you like what we do for nonprofits in Colorado Springs, but it's by no means obligatory or expected. Either way, we appreciate your support of our 59 participating organizations!
Thanks for giving us your birth year. There is a special matching grant available to the organization in each category that garners the most donations from folks in their 20's and 30's. One of the big focuses of this campaign is to encourage younger citizens to become more active donors.
To reach our $1 million goal, the community needs to raise at least $678,000 by midnight on Dec. 31, 2013.
